Summary

Nominated for best cinematography at the 2008 Asian Film Awards and winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Bangkok International Film Festival in the same year, Those Three is the story of three army conscripts who have been sent to receive military training in the freezing environs of the Iranian mountains. On the last day of their training, the trio decides to desert. However, the men’s newfound freedom is short- lived. Confronted by a wall of blinding snow, they find themselves disoriented and unable to find their way back to civilization. Lost in a featureless landscape, the men inadvertently encounter a pregnant woman who has been abandoned by the person she hired to smuggle her across the border. Together, the four struggle to survive the bitter cold of an inhospitable environment, against which they are completely powerless.
